Employment Type: Full time (flexible hours can be discussed).
Location: Dublin, Ireland - the supply will be managed in our Dublin-based office. That being said there is flexibility - a hybrid of in-office and remote working for times when it is not necessary to be in the office / studio.
Salary: Competitive.
Use of a car / driving license is preferred for the collection / delivery of supply.
Who we are
We are a female-led, tech-for-good startup that has successfully tested and proved our game-changing clothes-swapping concept and grown our community across Ireland and the UK. We are now growing our membership base and brand partnerships to globally scale our revolutionary concept and we need an Operations Assistant to help us build this.
Our mission is to empower people to reduce the environmental impact of fashion by giving new life to the beautiful clothes that already exist in our communities. We are using the transformative power of tech to make sustainable solutions accessible to all.

You will be joining a fashion enthusiastic, and tight-knit team of four and work closely with our COO, Róisín. The role will consist of supply chain management of our Nuw stock, from onboarding onto the app to delivery to customers. In addition, strong communication skills will be needed to manage customer support with Nuw community members via email and in-app messaging. You can showcase your creative flair (not essential) through the curation of the Nuw supply on the app browse page.
Who you are
You are passionate about fashion and sustainability. You are organised, a good communicator and a problem solver who has a creative flair and is willing to roll up your sleeves to get things done in a fast-paced environment.
You have experience in or are deeply passionate about fashion and sustainability. You care about what you are creating and putting out into the world, which will result in people across the globe reducing their fashion carbon footprint and connecting with their communities.
A formal education and the ability to solve text-book problems is nice, but not prioritised at Nuw. We want to see, first and foremost, that you have the ability, tenacity and work ethic to take on challenges, expand your knowledge and skills where necessary and do it fast. If you believe you can do this job, then we believe you can too.
Given we are an early-stage startup, you are comfortable wearing different hats. While your primary focus will be on fashion curation, supply-chain management, and customer support you are enthusiastic about all aspects of growing a sustainable fashion platform and are happy to jump in where needed and supported.
Objectives of the role:
Manage and execute the flow of supply from onboarding in-app to delivery to customers in a timely manner.
Manage a large volume of inbound and outbound emails and chats with customers with efficiency and in Nuw’s tone of voice.
Implement and manage a stock storage system.
Curate the Nuw clothes feed that leads to an increase in swapping/borrowing activity on the app.
Recommend improvements to processes for improved company efficiency.
Daily / weekly responsibilities:
Complete the stock supply flow process : sorting, hanging, steaming, photographing, upload on the app, manage communication with users, pack items and post items.
Manage the storage system of Nuw stock, ensure it is organised and easily accessible when needed.
Daily response to customer support emails, assessing and resolving the requests in a timely manner. Escalating upwards where needed.
Daily in-app approvals of user uploads and Nuw own stock upalods.
Weekly cross department calls to update the business.
