Damage & Returns
What happens if someone borrows my piece and it is damaged/not returned?
Our borrower-lender contract means your pieces are safeguarded in case of damage.
When uploading a piece the lender specifies the current value of the item. We ask our members to treat pieces with respect but don’t be afraid to have fun – just like you would with your own clothes.
Should something happen, either the borrower or lender can notify the Nuw team. Both parties can agree on whether to repair the item or reimburse the item. The payment for the decided course of action is the responsibility of the borrower.
Nuw oversees this process to ensure that both parties are protected and that all members have a good experience.
What happens if my borrow or swap doesn't fit?
Unfortunately this will happen however we will try our best to ensure you receive as much information on size and fit before you confirm your share/swap.
If the item doesn't fit and you have borrowed it, you can contact the lender and send it back early. If the item doesn't fit and you have swapped it, you can contact the swapper and request to return it, however the swapper may not agree and you must be responsible for the cost of postage. If you do return it please contact the Nuw team and we will reissue your token. If you do not return it you can upload the piece on the app to be swapped or shared.
